Frosted, patterned and printed film for privacy, branding and glass manifestation.

How it works

Privacy, branding and safety in one layer

Decorative film covers everything from plain frosted material that mimics etched glass through to full-colour printed graphics and precision cut patterns. Applied to interior or exterior glass, it delivers privacy while keeping natural light, which is why it has largely replaced blinds and solid partitions in modern offices.

It also does a safety job. Glass partitions need visible markings so people do not walk into them, and a designed band or pattern satisfies that requirement while looking deliberate rather than regulatory.

Because it is applied film, it can be changed. A tenant, a brand refresh or a new department layout means stripping and re-applying, not replacing glazing.

  • Light keptPrivacy achieved without blocking daylight into the space.
  • ManifestationBands and patterns that make glass partitions clearly visible.
  • Fully customPrinted, cut or gradient patterns produced to design intent.
  • ReversibleRemovable and replaceable when a tenant or brand changes.

Specification

What to specify

Most decisions here are visual, but the practical ones still matter: which side the film goes on, how much light it blocks and whether the pattern needs to align across panes.

Questions we get asked

Plain answers to the questions buyers and building owners ask us most.

Is architectural film better than renovating a surface?

It is better when the surface is structurally sound and only the finish is dated. Film changes the look in place, with no demolition, no disposal and usually no closure, at a fraction of the cost of replacement. It is the wrong choice when the substrate itself has failed.

How much does architectural film cost?

Cost is driven by area, edge detail and access rather than by material alone. Published installed rates for architectural finishing film are usually quoted per square foot and sit far below the cost of removing and replacing the same surface, but the only reliable number comes from a survey of the actual substrate.

Can architectural film be used inside an elevator?

Yes, and elevator cabs are one of its most common uses. Interior finishes in an elevator are code-governed, so the product needs an appropriate surface burning classification and the work should be coordinated with your lift contractor for sign-off.
