Installation service
Solar control, safety, security, privacy and bird-friendly film installed on commercial and residential glazing.
What it covers
Window film is a specification decision before it is an installation. The same solar film that performs well on tempered glass can put an annealed sealed unit under thermal stress, so we record glass type, thickness and construction during the survey and specify from that.
We install solar control, safety, security, privacy, decorative and bird-friendly films on commercial buildings, and the same crews do residential work. Retrofits in occupied buildings are routine: we work floor by floor with protection down and glass cleaned on completion.
Scope
All installed to the manufacturer's specification for the glass in question.
Heat and glare reduction on perimeter and south-facing glazing.
Glass retention film, with frame anchoring where forced-entry delay matters.
Frosted, gradient and patterned film on interior and exterior glass.
Marker patterns applied to the exterior surface to reduce collisions.
Sacrificial clear film on vulnerable glass, replaced rather than repaired.
Failed or discoloured film stripped and glass re-filmed.
Practicalities
Glazing work needs clean, dry conditions and controlled temperature. In an occupied building we work in zones, protect finishes and floors, and hand each area back cleaned.

Most asked about
Holds broken glass in the frame and delays forced entry. Anchoring decides how much it delays.
